Snub-nose monkey is a national treasure in China. Golden snub-nose monkey (also widely referred to as the Sichuan snub-nosed monkey) has a thick golden fur, which shines under sunlight. It lives up to the name of “Monkey King” with such a glamorous armor.
The park boasts the largest troop of golden monkeys in captivity in China. The 50 or so monkeys, divided into three families, live freely and in groups on the Island. Many animal experts and scholars come to the Park to study their behaviors.
